It's amazing how life works. You start out thinking and doing one thing and it works into something you never dreamed of. My wife started making totes. Just totes in 2005. We sold a few here and there and had fun doing it. She (along with my sister) worked in the evenings - every evening. They started making accessories to match. They made tissue holders that I named "sneeze totes". I decided to jump on board and help them out. So I took over the sneeze totes. I set up a sewing machine on the counter right beside the printing presses that I run on a daily basis. And I learned to sew standing up. I made 100's of sneeze totes. Then we started making headbands - and they really took off..........so guess what I did - I decided I could make those as well. Long story short.....we are now SAMSBANDS. Here is a little bit about that process.

The cotton reversible headbands take several steps. I choose the fabrics, cut, fleece, sew the sides. My wife adds the elastic. I then turn and press and we add the topstitching.

Our new line of active wear headbands are made from lycra/spandex fabrics. These fabrics are bright and colorful and very comfortable for the girl on the go.
Wear them slightly on the forehead (grab a little skin) and they will stay in place as you run, workout, garden, etc.

We are also adding a line of headbands for the little ones called "Little Princess".
